Mr. Rooter Calls Attention to "Fix a Leak" Week With Facebook Game
Did you know it's "Fix a Leak" Week? It's sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency, and calls attention to the importance of conserving water. To help promote this annual event, Mr. Rooter Plumbing is using The Drip Game on Facebook, which is about stopping leaks. It's a fun and interactive way to play and remember the importance of not wasting water down the drain.
Have you played The Drip Game yet? If not, Fix a Leak Week is the perfect time to play. On the EPA WaterSense website, it says that Americans should repair leaks in three areas: the sink, the toilet and the shower. In The Drip Game, Wally the Wrench stops leaks in three levels, which happen to be these same three areas.
To play The Drip Game, you can go to Mr. Rooter's Facebook page at facebook.com/mrrootercorporation. Next, just click on The Drip Game link in the left side menu.
The Drip Game is part of our Water-Wise initiative. If you aren't familiar with Mr. Rooter Plumbing's Water-Wise initiative, it brings attention to the importance of conserving water. The EPA WaterSense website - http://www.epa.gov/watersense/ -has some great statistics if you haven't visited it. Let me warn you - some will surprise you.
