Until the 18th Century, Europeans used chamber pots for bodily waste and dumped the contents into the street where it mixed with horse droppings.
It was nasty, stinky and deadly. Bacterial diseases ran rampant some causing DEATH!
It was like folks were living a real life horror movie.
During the 1800′s, officials pressed for better waste disposal systems. Underground water and sewage systems were built.
Thanks to Mr. Rooter (or, more aptly, to Modern Day Plumbing) the world was saved from an Apocalyptic Horror!
