We offer several pipelining services in Chesapeake, VA. After conducting a diagnosis using a high-tech video camera, our experienced technicians will highlight the issues, recommend a repair, and discuss the benefits.
Popular methods include cured-in-place pipe lining, also known as CIPP. The technician inserts a flexible, resin-coated liner into the pipe and then cures it in place. When it hardens, it essentially forms a new pipe within the old one.
Pipelining works for most materials and in most systems. We also offer various other solutions. These include pipe bursting, where the technician drags a new pipe through the old one. The new pipe breaks up the older pipe and takes its place.
Is Pipelining Right for Your System?
CIPP pipe lining is an ideal option if you have cracked or partially collapsed pipes and want repairs without excavation. It’s highly efficient and fast, with minimal mess and disruption. It’s suitable for most systems and can fix various issues, including in aging pipes. It’s also very effective at clearing and preventing root intrusions.
However, it may not be the right choice if your pipes are misaligned or severely damaged. For completely collapsed or bellied pipes, we may need to use traditional excavation methods. We won’t start work until you’re fully informed, aware, and happy, though, and we’ll give you an upfront quote so you know how much it will cost and how long it will take.
The Mr. Rooter® Pipelining Process
Whether it’s copper or cast iron pipe lining, we begin every job with a thorough assessment. Our technicians use high-tech video cameras to get real-time footage from the inside of your pipes. They’ll see cracks, leaks, collapses, and blockages, while also assessing the general condition of your pipes.
Once they have a diagnosis, they’ll discuss it with you. They’ll explain your options, discuss repairs, and give you an upfront, transparent quote. There are no hidden fees, so what you see is what you pay. What’s more, with our Neighborly Done Right Promise®, we’ll always return if you’re unhappy with the work for whatever reason.
