Top notch. Our technician was phenomenal. His name is Andy Jacoby. I called with a problem and someone showed up same day. Very happy with everything.

We started with Airserve to get a new HVAC system put in, Mr. Rooter is part of that company. So we had the same person come to our home. Very professional, knowledgeable and Kind. And like a lot of companies, we did not get an hour long sales presentation on things we didn't need in our house. That’s why I quit using a lot of companies like Michaels and Sons, etc.. So it was a relief to find this company. And also, they really stick to the window they give you and keep you updated with where they are on Arrival time. So there’s no frustration with that, as we all know there can be with some companies.

What could have been a destruction of my concrete basement floor, my front porch, my yard full of flowers and the treasured wood wall my late husband made for our yard- turned out to be NOT ONE THING destroyed!! These guys were able to fix my sewer pipe problem from the house to the street without digging!!! ( home was built in the late '40's w cast iron sewer pipe) With thier latest technology they ran a fiberglass liner that runs through the inside of the existing pipe! Thank you Alex, Josh, Matt and Ryan!!! These guys were prompt, efficient, polite and kept me informed of what they were doing!

Tommy originally came out for a busted pipe and then discovered my hot water heater wasn’t working. He was honest with me and told me he couldn’t let me spend money on replacing parts for something so old that it just wouldn’t be worth the money. I ended up buying a new water heater and Tommy and I believe it was Matt came the next day and installed it for me. They are very professional, didn’t leave a mess and were so friendly! I highly recommend this company!

Frequently Asked Questions About Emergency Plumbing Services in Martinsburg, Virginia

Contact Mr. Rooter Plumbing®, and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you have about our emergency plumbing services in Martinsburg. For more information about our plumbing services, read the answers to our frequently asked questions below.

  • The cost of emergency plumber service will vary based on many factors, including the type of service required, which means emergency plumbing costs vary from job to job. The type of plumbing emergency you’re dealing with; such as a broken pipe, gas leak, or clogged sewer line, and the parts and materials needed to to resolve the issue will all factor into the overall cost for emergency plumbing services. You can contact your local plumbing team for more information about the cost associated with emergency plumbing services, so you know what to expect before service begins. In most cases, fees and hourly rates for emergency plumbing service will vary based on the situation, the company you choose, and where you live.

  • A plumbing emergency describes an incident involving your plumbing in which urgent repairs or interventions are needed to prevent inconvenience, damage, and/or a health hazard. A lack of hot water, or realizing you have no water at all, can indicate a serious plumbing system problem that requires the help of an emergency plumber. Small drips and major leaks are both damage-causing plumbing emergencies that you should address with the help of an experienced plumber as soon as possible. Plumbing issues like gas leaks, burst and frozen pipes, and clogged toilets should all be addressed by 24/7 plumbers for your peace of mind.

  • When you suddenly find yourself with a broken pipe, a gas leak, a failed water heater, or another plumbing emergency, contact someone skilled in emergency plumbing. If you’re currently experiencing a plumbing emergency, contact a plumbing service provider with a dedicated emergency number to ensure you’ll get the help you need. Many reputable plumbing professionals have 24/7 call answering services, so contact them immediately when a plumbing emergency arises. While a plumber should be your first call when experiencing a plumbing emergency, you may also need to call your utility company if your gas lines or water lines are involved and even your insurance company for any damage.

  • You can locate an emergency plumber quickly by searching for ‘plumbers in your area’ and visiting their website for contact forms, phone numbers, and other details. An online search is one of the easiest and fastest ways to find contact information for an emergency plumber. It’s only natural to be in a hurry when you have a plumbing emergency, so you may find it more convenient to ask friends, family members, neighbors, and other people you trust for an emergency plumber recommendation. Not all plumbing service providers are set up to provide emergency plumbing service, which means you may need to contact multiple service providers to find one you can rely on for the emergency services you need.

  • You can ward off many of the worst plumbing emergencies by simply contacting your local plumbing service provider for services like drain cleaning and plumbing system inspections. Winter-related plumbing emergencies can strike when you least expect them but many can be avoidable if you insulate pipes in exposed places like attics and basements. Learning your plumbing system layout and knowing where your main water supply valve is and how to use it may help you avoid or at least control a plumbing emergency in the future. You can avoid plumbing emergencies relating to pipe blockages simply by being well-informed about what shouldn’t be put down your drains, like cooking fat, paint, flushable wipes, and foreign objects.

  • If possible, start by identifying the source of the plumbing issue, such as a burst pipe, clogged drain, or gas smell and determine if the problem presents an immediate danger that requires you to evacuate the property and call for emergency plumbing services. Many emergency plumbing situations can be brought under control by locating and turning off the main shut-off valve supplying water to the property. Placing buckets under a leaking pipe, drain, or appliance, and soaking up excess water with towels may help you minimize damage from a plumbing emergency involving your pipes, drains, or appliances. Safety is always the primary consideration in a plumbing emergency, so contact your preferred plumbing service provider immediately.

  • A severely clogged toilet that you can’t unclog yourself should be considered a plumbing emergency that requires you to call a plumber to fix. Severely clogged toilets can certainly be emergency plumbing situations when they’re overflowing and could possibly flood your bathroom and cause property damage without professional intervention. As sanitation risks can be associated with clogged toilets, which impacts the health and well-being of occupants, your clogged toilet can be considered a plumbing emergency. A clogged toilet can be considered a plumbing emergency if you’re experiencing ongoing toilet clogs, have multiple toilets affected, or only have one functional bathroom.

  • A blocked drain in your home or business should be treated as an emergency if it has the potential to cause flooding, property damage, and/or create a health hazard – contact a licensed and insured plumbing service provider who can take care of the problem for you. Emergency plumbing service providers may be required if you have more than one blocked drain, which is often an indication of a bigger problem with your main sewer line or plumbing system. If your blocked drain has caused raw sewage or standing water on your property, contact a trusted emergency plumbing service provider to address the issue and minimize health hazards. If you’re dealing with persistent clogs that cause inconvenient and potential health hazards, contact an emergency plumber to take care of the problem before it gets worse.

  • When you’ve identified a water leak in your home or business, you can consider it a plumbing emergency, even if it’s a relatively small leak. If a water leak has caused a rapid flow of water that could damage your property, it’s an emergency that requires a trusted emergency plumber as soon as possible. When your floors, walls, ceilings, and other parts of your property are affected by a water leak, it should be considered a plumbing emergency that you can’t always address by yourself. Call an emergency plumber without delay if your water leak has created an electrical hazard, caused property damage, involves a main water line, or affects your water heater.

  • While not mandatory, many people choose to tip an emergency plumber after receiving exceptional service or being thankful they could visit at short notice or at a late hour. While tipping is one way to show your appreciation, you can also show appreciation for your plumber by writing them a thank-you note, leaving good online reviews, and recommending them to people needing plumbing services. You will likely find that most emergency plumbing service providers don’t expect to receive tips from their clients but are extremely appreciative when they do.
