Called on a Saturday morning with an impossibly backed-up kitchen sink. Colby was able to come out that day. I really appreciated having the cost up front to be able to make the best decision. My sink was draining within an hour, professionally and cleanly done. Thank you!

Atreyu showed up within the time I was told. He is very respectful and knowledgeable. I had a video of the leak i had in the crawl space that I showed him. He asked to see under the sink and pointed out a few things and was confident it was in the wall under the sink. Sure enough he was right. He is very kind and we had a great time chit chatting about stuff. I hope I never have to call a plumber again but if I do it will definitely be Mr rooter and I will be asking for Atreyu!! Great job young man!!!

Terry Drake was a wonderful skilled technician. We thought we just had a clogged drain. It wasn’t that simple…Terry found a 2” clean seal plug left in our pipes by the original builder over 10 years ago. While it was difficult to remove, Terry figured out how to remove it. Now the drain is open and water is moving freely. Thank you Terry and Mr Rooter Plumbing. You guys are the best!

Colby went above and beyond removing the debris packed in the pipe. He came completely prepared for anything he might encounter. He was the best technician I’ve worked with and he stayed at it. I was amazed seeing the high pressure water jetter break up all the debris in the pipe. I truly appreciate Colby being thorough using the camera and jetter in all the pipes. Glad to know that we didn’t have tree roots involved in the blockage! That rodent was determined to seal up his nest with the pipe insulation. He must have realized when it started rain season he over did it. Didn’t leave himself a drain and flooded himself out:) Thank you Colby!

I was able to get same day sevice for a clogged bath tub. It was a bit spendy but the service received from Colby was excellent! He was efficient, thorough, and cleaned up after the work was complete. I would use Mr Rooter again for future issues as needed.

Wow. . . Terry Drake with Mr. Rooter is awesome. We wanted to have our plumbing, pipes, drains and sinks inspected so we reached out to Mr. Rooter. We have 3-full baths (3-showers,6-sinks). Terry came over that same day at 7:30pm on his way home, even though we're an hour away. He gave us a plan and came over two-days later. He inspected everything and cleared some clogs and dirty pipes. He showed me camera footage of our pipes as he was cleaning. He gave us a monthly drain maintenance product. Terry got into our nasty crawl space to familiarize himself with our pipes under the house. He even helped me change my water filter which I was putting off. In short, Terry Drake and his team at Mr. Rooter are our new go-to plumbers and are excellent. Highly recommend!

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars

Joel, David, and Cris did a fantastic job fixing my broken concrete sewer line. All were professional. They came out, did minamal excavation in order to achieve a sleeve into the old concrete pipe, fixed the broken section under the garage pad, and even fixed an area that wasnt to code. Thanks again for the work and prefessionalism they displayed as a team.

We are slowly remodeling a house that's been neglected for many years. Jacob has come to our rescue twice in the last 6 months when we found ourselves out of our depth with a couple plumbing issues. He was kind, professional, upbeat, and informative. Our dog also loved him, and she is an excellent judge of character.

I want to be specific about what makes this company different from the other plumbing services I have tried in Middle Tennessee over the years. The price is given before any work begins and it does not change when the job is complete. The technicians arrive in uniform, put covers on their boots at the door without being asked, and leave the work area clean. These details are not universal in this industry, and Mr. Rooter has delivered on all of them across every visit I have had. I have used them for a water heater replacement, a sewer repair, and 2 drain cleanings over the past 18 months. The standard has not slipped once.

First time using Mr. Rooter for a toilet that had been rocking at the base for months. Tech came out the next morning, found the flange had cracked underneath, and gave me the flat rate before any work started. The repair took about 90 minutes and everything has been solid since. Only thing I'd mention is the appointment window was a couple hours wide, but they called ahead when the tech was on his way so I wasn't just sitting around…

I couldn't be more impressed with the service provided by Mr. Rooter! They had a technician out within an hour of our phone call to them and did the work the same day! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, but what really set them apart was our technician, Atreyu Sondergaard. Atreyu was absolute top-tier—incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and respectful of our home. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all our questions without rushing, and completed the job with outstanding precision and care. You can tell he truly takes pride in his work, and it shows in the quality of the final result. It’s rare to find technicians who combine genuine professionalism with such phenomenal craftsmanship. If you need reliable, high-quality service, ask for Atreyu! Huge thanks to him and the Mr. Rooter team—we will definitely be using them again in the future. But I hope we won't need to. I posted before and after photos. 71 year old pipes vs new ones!

Mr Rooter (Atreyu) arrives when he says fix the problem and disgust what to do next time very friendly. Seems to not be working hard but problem shoveled before you realize it.

Had a pipe split under our house on a Saturday, called and had service tech Atreyu Sondergaard onsite within a few hours. Very prompt, courteous and even fixed a few other problems without increasing cost. 100% would recommend.

Jacob was a great help. Arrived ready to go and worked all afternoon on our difficult drain problem. Once the work was done he spent time cleaning up and making sure everything got put back together properly.

Frequently Asked Questions About Plumbing in Amboy, Washington

Contact Mr. Rooter Plumbing® in Amboy, Washington today for more information on our comprehensive range of plumbing services in your area. Should you require further information about Mr. Rooter Plumbing® in Amboy, Washington and our offerings, check out our frequently asked questions.

  • Worn-out valve seats and washers can be among the most common causes of leaky faucets, generally because they can succumb to wear and tear with frequent loosening and tightening. While high water pressure can be desirable, it can also be the cause of dripping faucets, so contact a plumber to test the pressure and adjust it if required. If you live somewhere with hard water, explore the possibility of rust and corrosion being to blame for a dripping faucet since minerals and solids can form a residue on your faucet over time and cause rust to form. Not everyone knows how to fix a dripping faucet, so call a plumbing service provider in your area to take care of it for you.

  • Low water pressure can sometimes be caused by the water shutoff valves to your property not being completely open — often left closed from maintenance or inspections. Contact a plumbing service provider for help when you notice low water pressure since it can sometimes be caused by a blockage or clog in your pipes, which can require experience and special tools to fix. Talk to a trusted expert about repairing or replacing your water pressure regulator since a faulty one can cause abrupt water pressure changes from high to low or vice versa. If your water pressure woes are combined with strange wet patches in your yard, talk to your local plumber about the possibility of a broken pipe on your property being to blame.

  • Contact a licensed and insured service professional to solve plumbing woes like slow-draining sinks when you aren’t sure how to fix them. Try pouring baking soda and vinegar down your slow-draining sink to try to clear it since these ingredients can sometimes help combat grease and soap scum blockages. If you’re dealing with a tough blockage slowing down your sink, use a plumbing snake that you can insert deep into the drain, twist, and extract any debris. P-traps underneath sinks can become filled with debris and contribute to a slow-draining sink, but you or your local plumber can easily clean them out.

  • Simple plumbing maintenance tasks like cleaning your drains and flushing your water heater can help prevent future costly and messy plumbing leaks. Keeping your pipes leak-free, damage-free, and in good condition requires avoiding the disposal of damaging items down your drains, such as eggshells, grease, and wipes. If your property has high water pressure, explore remedies like pressure regulators or regular pressure checks since consistently high water pressure cah cause plumbing leaks. If you have exposed pipes on your property and live somewhere cold, you may prevent winter-related plumbing leaks by insulating and covering your pipes.

  • Rather than diagnose and remedy an awful-smelling sink in your property yourself, contact a plumbing service provider and have them take care of the problem on your behalf. An unpleasant smell emanating from your sink can indicate a blockage or clog, as bacteria often gather there, breed, and produce awful odors that linger in your home. It’s not uncommon to notice unpleasant sewage-like smells around sinks that aren’t used very often because the P-traps can dry out and let sewer gases seep into your house. If you own a garbage disposal, inspect it as a cause of foul odors, as they can arise from mold, bacteria, decomposing food, and sewer gases.

  • If you only have a small water heater, the number of property occupants and your hot water demands may mean you’ve run out of hot water. Check your water heater’s thermostat to make sure it’s at a high enough temperature to produce adequate hot water — but it should be no higher than 120 degrees F. Older water heaters can stop producing adequate hot water for a range of reasons, like broken thermostats, gas valves, and heating elements, which may require replacement. Failure to identify why you have minimal hot water from your water heater means it’s time to call a plumber in your area to diagnose the problem.

  • Your water bill could be high because you have a pipe, faucet, or fixture that’s leaking and needs to be repaired by a licensed and insured plumber. If you use outdoor irrigation systems, you can notice an unusually high water bill if you haven’t adjusted your system’s settings to avoid runoff and excessive consumption. Pay close attention to how old, efficient, and operational your water-using appliances are, like ice makers, dishwashers, and water heaters, since they contribute to water bills. Since leaky toilet tanks can waste as much as 80,000 gallons of water yearly, inspect it for signs of a leak causing your water bill to be high.

  • ·Turn off water and power: A burst pipe in a building can sometimes be a safety hazard, so turn off your water and power if it’s safe to do so to protect everyone in the area. Contact a trusted plumbing service provider: Outsource the repair or replacement of your burst pipe to a trusted plumbing service provider since they typically have the most experience and skills. Clean up excess water: As long as there’s no sewage, start your cleanup efforts with mops, buckets, and towels once you’ve got a safe area to work in. Document any damage: If you intend to claim insurance for a burst pipe, don’t forget to document all the damage with a detailed list of your losses, videos, and photos.

  • See if you have a malfunctioning chain or flapper that could cause your toilet running after flushing and not holding water, as these two components can fail as they get older. Inspect your toilet’s float to listen for any water inside; a waterlogged float can sit at a lower level than your toilet requires, and you need to replace it. Broken fill valves can start to inconsistently shut off the water supply to your toilet or stop doing it altogether, which means you need to replace this part. When you don’t feel confident to diagnose and repair your own toilet after it won’t stop running, call a local plumber for help.

  • Turning off the water supply to your home is as straightforward as finding the water valve inside your house, if you have one, and turning it clockwise. Arm yourself with a pentagon socket wrench and look for an underground water meter box on your property — these have security bolts to undo with a wrench before you can turn off your water supply. As soon as you need to turn your home’s water supply off, ensure you have access to a meter key or a pair of pliers in case they’re needed to open your meter box. When you need to turn off the water to your house but can’t find your water supply valve, contact a plumber in your area to help.
