About Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Central Oregon

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Central Oregon is owned and run by Greg Muensterman, who started plumbing in 1980 and opened this shop in Bend in 2006 out of a spare bedroom. Today our licensed plumbers and seasoned drain techs work out of our shop on Peerless Court on the north end of Bend, every van carries a sewer camera, and the person who calls you back after hours is a qualified technician. We serve all of Deschutes, Jefferson, and Crook counties. Our story. Greg started plumbing in Southern California in 1980 and spent his first years under a lot of good plumbers and steamfitters. The one who mattered most was Ron Busse at Murray Company, who taught him the trade and, in Greg's words, became a father to him. Ron has since retired to Arizona, but the way he worked is still the way this shop works: look at the whole system, tell the customer the truth, and do not leave until it is right. In 2006 Greg opened Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Central Oregon in Bend, out of a spare bedroom in his house. He went with the Mr. Rooter name for one plain reason: people recognize it, and in a town where you are the new plumber, that gets the phone to ring. What kept it ringing was the work. Twenty years later the shop is located at 62890 Peerless Court on the north end of Bend, and Greg is still the one who decides how a job gets done. How we work. Every van carries a sewer camera, so you see what is wrong on a screen before anyone quotes a repair. The larger vans carry a natural gas and an electric water heater, so a replacement does not wait for a second trip. The price is quoted before the work starts and it is the same at midnight as at noon, with no overtime charge. After 4 p.m. and all weekend, the phones roll to an answering service that texts the on-call technician, and he calls you back himself with a real arrival window. Ask Greg what he is proudest of about how the shop runs and he will tell you two things: he prays a lot, and he listens. Where we work. Our shop is in Bend, and we are in Redmond, Sisters, Tumalo, Sunriver, La Pine, Prineville, Madras, and Terrebonne every week, plus the ranches, cabins, and farm places in between. That means septic systems, propane water heaters, long water service runs, and pipes that freeze most winters, and sewers too. We have worked on everything from a 1950s house in Prineville with galvanized pipe to industrial 4" HDPE cooling-water lines pulled through sleeves at Mt. Bachelor, and the approach is the same for all: communication and honesty. What we stand behind.
