Drain Doctor, our United Kingdom counterpart, shared a great story recently. The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) did a story on a strange celebration of the toilet.
The Museum of the Toilet is located in South Korea and while it seems a tongue in cheek display, it does have a serious side.
"The Restroom Cultural Park in the Korean city of Suwon is claimed to be "the world's first toilet theme park". Its museum has exhibits including Roman loos, European-style bedpans, and ancient Korean flush toilets. Visitors can glean facts about human waste or stroll around a sculpture garden dedicated to squatting figures."
The theme park was set up to bring to light the continued problem of providing adequate sanitation to much of the world.
Countries lucky enough to have effective sanitation, however, always need effective plumbers to protect the health of the citizens. Drain Doctor, and Mr. Rooter Plumbing, continue to provide top-notch service to those we serve.
