Treating Others As We Would Like to Be Treated

A few days ago I shared with you our company's Code of Values®. Under our category of Respect, we begin with living our code of values by "Treating Others as We Would Like To Be Treated". While this may seem like common sense, it is amazes me how often some businesses can forget this golden rule. Whether we are dealing with our franchise owners, our co-workers, or you - our valued customer, Mr. Rooter® Plumbing, and all The Dwyer Group companies, strive to ensure we remain polite and respectful at all times.

I just recently heard of a Frito Lay truck driver who stopped to help a woman change her tire and when he was complete turned down the thank you tip she offered him. He told her that it was part of his job and gave her his business card which said "You were helped by an associate of Frito Lay. The next time you think snacks, think Frito Lay." Now that is treating others the way you want to be treated.
