How We Repair Pipe Leaks
We begin each service call with a plumbing inspection to look for signs of residential leaking pipes. We perform a visual inspection and a plumbing video camera inspection to uncover hidden leaks. Our state-of-the-art plumbing video camera offers real-time information about the condition of your pipes. It allows us to quickly find signs of punctures, leaks, corrosion, tree root instructions, and other damage. We’ll then recommend leaking pipe repair or replacement using one of these methods:
- Pipe Relining – Pipe relining is one of the most efficient ways to fix leaking pipes. We will recommend it for minor leaks and damage. We insert a special sleeve into the pipes, and as the sleeve hardens, it seals up any leaks, punctures, or damage. The sleeve also prevents future leaks and damage.
- Pipe Replacement – If your pipes have major damage, they may need to be replaced. We use a method for pipe replacement called the Pipe Pull® technique. We dig a small access hole at either end of the pipeline. As we insert the new pipe, it breaks apart the old one, pushing it out of the way. Our new pipes resist corrosion, leaks, tree roots, pests, chemicals, and other damage. They can last up to 100 years.
