Customer Reviews in Chattahoochee, Florida

  • So we had a heck of an experience with these guys, and I couldn’t have asked for better service. Our water heater went out and we called them the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. We were on the schedule for them to come by later in the afternoon, but they had to move it to Friday because it was so busy. No big deal; it was the holiday week, and they were very nice about it. Kevin (the General Manager) came out to us on Friday at 9:30am and the estimate they provided was great, and they did not exceed it at all. He worked diligently until it was done, putting up with all my questions and whatnot, and was done by 1:45pm. But we weren’t finished with them, yet. Around 5:30pm that day, we came to find a large amount of water on the floor in the kitchen. Quick call to Kevin and he told us some bad news that we kind of had been expecting at some point in the future. We have an older block home with old galvanized pipes that run in the concrete slab. Turns out our hot water pipe burst in the slab and water was leaking out onto the kitchen and in the laundry room outside. He told us we had 2 options, fix the burst pipe, tearing up the foundation/wall in the process (unavoidable) for less money up front, but with how old our pipes were, there was no guarantee it wouldn’t burst again somewhere else down the liner later on. Option 2, the more expensive, but more permanent solution, was to replace all our pipes. We went with that one. Kevin and Kyle came out this time on Monday (again, they had a really busy holiday week/weekend) morning and gave us our quote. Not an easy pill to swallow, but they made it way easier with the 18mo same-as-cash financing so we could just go ahead and get this fixed properly. They had to order all the parts and Kyle and Chris were back promptly at 9am Tuesday morning to begin. My house was their worst enemy. Snags and complications that were absolutely no fault of theirs happened all along the course of the installation process. It was so bad that it took them a day and a half longer than expected, but was completely understandable. The guys never faltered, but we could sense a bit of frustration, so my wife gave them cookies and coffee as a consolation. So, they got everything done by Thursday night; the project complete, house was cleaned as best they could manage, and everyone was happy again, and best of all we finally had hot water again! They were so good to us that we won’t hesitate to call them if we need to again. I just hope it’s not for a long time. With all the extra care Kevin, Kyle, and Chris put into walking us through the process, keeping us informed of everything, installing everything in a way that fixed some other issues we had (poor original installations… I call it “janky” workmanship, all fixed up now), if we do have another issue Mr. Rooter is first on our list of places to call. 10/10, 3 Michelin Stars, 2 Thumbs Up, all that jazz.

  • Kris is hands down the best plumber! He is knowledgeable meticulous, works hard, and does not cut corners. Kris made sure he took his time to make sure he found the source of our leak and gave me multiple options to fix it. He was there every step of the way from figuring out our budget financing options he even took the liberty to pick out everything we would need right down to the specific drains! When Kris and Justyn came out the first day to do the work they both were very professional and worked efficiently, keeping me informed with everything that was going on! Once the new shower was installed the finish product was AMAZING! Thank you for your hard work and dedication!

Frequently Asked Questions About Drain Cleaning in Chattahoochee, Florida

Become well-informed about drain cleaning in Chattahoochee by reading the answers to our frequently asked questions below. The friendly team at Mr. Rooter Plumbing® in Chattahoochee, Florida is here to answer any drain cleaning-related questions you have.

  • The typical cost of drain cleaning can vary based on where you live, the company you choose to deliver the service, the type of drain, and if additional problems are discovered during the drain cleaning process. Drain type contribute to the costs of drain cleaning service, like whether it’s the main sewer line, your toilet, a bathroom sink, or a kitchen sink because different drains require different tools and techniques. The type of tools used in drain cleaning can impact overall expenses, with options ranging from basic snaking to advanced hydrojetting techniques for both cleaning and unclogging. Many factors contribute to the bill you receive for drain cleaning, such as the location of any clogs, the condition of your drainage, and whether the service you require is an emergency or not.

  • Book professional drain cleaning when no home remedies you use can take care of recurring drain clogs — or the drain clogs persist. Call a professional plumber to diagnose and repair issues with your plumbing systems or main property drainage if you have multiple clogged drains or slow drainage. If you’ve noticed an overflowing toilet, gurgling sounds from drains and toilets, or wastewater backing up into toilets, tubs, and sinks, now is the right time to contact drain cleaning professionals. When you notice unpleasant smells in and around your drains, contact a drain cleaning company to take care of any blockages contributing to the odor.

  • Many homeowners and business owners book annual drain cleaning services when they have old plumbing and wish to maintain it and avoid serious plumbing woes. If you’re a property owner with a newer plumbing system, no history of plumbing problems, and a solid maintenance history, book drain cleaning every two or three years. Drain cleaning companies recommend regularly scheduled drain cleaning services for high-usage households and commercial properties to ensure drains continue to work at their best. If you aren’t sure when to book your next drain cleaning service to keep your plumbing system healthy, contact a trusted drain cleaning company for advice.

  • Most reputable and well-established drain-cleaning service providers have an arsenal of tools and technologies to clear clogs and clean the drains of residential and commercial properties. Plumbing snakes, also known as augers, are common handheld and powered tools that plumbers feed into drains to clear clogs. When drains are in dire need of cleaning and have stubborn clogs, many highly regarded plumbers will use quality equipment like HydroScrub® Jetting to take care of the problem quickly. You may spot your local plumbing service provider using pipe inspection tools, hand tools, pipe wrenches, and even plumbing video inspection cameras to provide a comprehensive drain cleaning service.

  • Among all the common strategies for preventing drain clogs, regular maintenance is undoubtedly one of the most effective. Rather than letting food, debris, hair, and other blockage risks enter your drains, you can invest in drain screens as a clog-preventative measure for peace of mind. Baking soda, vinegar, and hot water are all common household staples that are helpful for preventing drain clogs and keeping your drains clean and fresh. Avoid frustrating drain clogs by treating your drains well, which can involve being careful with what you tip down them, such as avoiding grease and oil.

  • Along with booking regular drain cleaning services once or twice yearly, your local plumbing expert can recommend additional drain maintenance options to help keep your plumbing system in good shape. Plumbers recommend installing drain screens over drains to prevent debris like hair and foreign materials from entering your drains and causing frustrating and sometimes costly blockages. Your local plumber will likely recommend regular drain cleaning services and ongoing maintenance with hot water, baking soda, and vinegar. It’s a common recommendation from plumbers that homeowners and business owners should only flush toilet paper to prevent drain clogs.

  • While readily available to buy in grocery stores, chemical drain cleaners are not recommended for drain maintenance, cleaning, and clog-clearing by most trusted plumbing service providers. Alongside not traditionally being environmentally friendly, you can access more gentle alternatives to chemical cleaners, such as dish soap, hot water, vinegar, and baking soda, to keep their drains fresh and clean. Rather than reaching for chemical drain cleaners, talk to your local plumbing service provider about professional services and tools like HydroScrub® Jetting and drain snakes. Given that some chemical drain cleaners contain harmful chemicals and can irritate skin and damage pipes, they are rarely recommended by plumbing professionals.

  • Your sink may not be draining because the sink trap, also known as the P-trap, is clogged with food, hair, or other debris. Non-draining or slow-draining sinks can have blockages and clogs in their drain lines, frequently resulting from debris and foreign materials like food and hair. Many homeowners and business owners find that their non-draining sink has been caused by property occupants tipping grease and oil down the drains — which can solidify and block the drains. Blockages aren’t the only culprit for slow-draining sinks; problems like pipe venting issues, pipe damage, main sewer line issues, or even poor pipe layout and installation can also cause drainage problems.

  • You may be able to clear a blocked drain by pouring half a cup of vinegar and half a box of baking soda down your drain and letting it break down the clog. Hot water with dish soap may be helpful for breaking down any grease and grime causing clogs in your drain pipes. Natural ingredients don’t always shift tough clogs, which is why your drain cleaning service provider may recommend drain snakes and HydroScrub® Jetting. You can remove some plumbing clogs with abrasive natural ingredients like baking soda and salt.

  • When you want to clean your bathroom drain pipes properly and remove clogs, insert a plumbing auger into your drain opening, turn the handle, and pull it out with any debris it can reach. To loosen or remove debris in your bathroom drain, pour half a cup of baking soda and vinegar down your drain and let it sit for half an hour to fizz up. Soap scum-related blockages in bathroom drains may be taken care of in just 10 minutes, courtesy of hot water and dish soap poured down them and left to sit. Leave the maintenance of your plumbing systems, including your bathroom drains, to trusted plumbing service providers who can clean and maintain them for you to save time and hassle.
