Rating: 5 out of 5 stars★ ★ ★ ★ ★☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Our garage drain was backing up. Don Green did a thorough job of explaining what he needed to do to fix our problem. He was successful in getting water to once again run through the drain and offered suggestion to maintain clearance. Don also sent a quote for replacing the drain and piping so we had an idea of cost for replacement. Excellent customer service.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars★ ★ ★ ★ ★☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆We recently purchased an older home that has been left vacant for many years. We knew when we purchased this home it was going to need some love. But when sewage water started to spread across our basement and backyard last night… we did not love that. Mr. Rooter was the only plumber we could find open on the weekends so we called. I was not at home at the time but my partner was and he says the tech, Luke, was incredibly knowledgeable, found the problem immediately and went to work. When he was done he showed my partner everything he did and did a great job explaining it. A+ Now, I took tomorrow off with the plan to spend the whole day cleaning our basement and backyard. The downstairs bathroom shower and toilet had some sewage sitting there when we bought the house so I knew it needed scrubbing. Tonight, I went downstairs to assess what work I had ahead of me tomorrow. Spotless. I can’t relay to you how clean the bathroom downstairs is. It is more clean than I would have done. The backyard only needs a quick hose down and will be back to normal. I am floored. We live in Galena and had to pay the out of town fee… worth it! Thank you Luke for giving me the day off tomorrow!!

Pump standard, conventional septic systems with septic tanks and drain fields every three to five years, or sooner, to prevent sludge and scum buildup. Despite being different from a conventional septic system, an aerobic treatment system with aeration chambers still needs to be monitored and maintained, with regular pumping every three to five years. Depending on usage, many different septic systems still require regular pumping, such as septic tankless systems, constructed wetlands, sand mound systems, drip irrigation systems, and chamber systems. If you’re unsure whether you need to pump your septic system and how often, ask your local service professional for advice.
-
Around a quarter of US properties, especially in rural locations, have septic systems to treat wastewater on their own properties — they are also called decentralized wastewater treatment systems. Septic systems are designed to take care of wastewater from properties by collecting it, storing the solids, removing any pollutants, and returning the cleaned effluent to the environment. Main drainage pipes connect homes and businesses to septic systems, channeling greywater and blackwater from toilets, showers, washing machines, and other plumbing fixtures to the system. Septic systems facilitate the wastewater eventually joining groundwater and making its way into lakes, streams, and rivers after removing viruses, parasites, nutrients, bacteria, and other impurities.
-
You likely don’t want to know what happens if you delay septic tank pumping because you can experience a range of consequences like pipe clogs, overflowing sewage, sewage backup, and problems with your drain field. When you don’t book septic tank pumping services, sewage can leak from an overfull septic tank, cause groundwater and soil contamination, and affect your yard and surrounding areas. Many homeowners have to call septic tank repair professionals for frustrating septic system damage when they don’t prioritize regular pumping and maintenance. You can encounter many challenges when you don’t prioritize regular septic tank pumping, like increased maintenance and repair costs, foul smells, and poor system efficiency.
