Customer Reviews in Salmon Creek, Washington

5/25/2025 For the second time in the same week, we had to call Mr. Rooter as our basement laundry room spickets were leaking. Gianni was the plumber that came out. Very nice, friendly, courteous information as well. He came in to assess the issue. Replaced the parts that were leaking also took it upon himself to see if he couldn’t find us a area underneath our home that he could attach a quick shut-off valve versus having to do it down at the bottom of the street and also did a quick inspection of the pipes underneath our house. Another good experience and price wasn’t bad. I definitely will be calling again with any other issues. Thank you, Gianni, for taking your time with us today and going above and beyond the job you came to do.

I had a leak in my wall. Behind the shower head. Mike and Jacob kick some serious ass and got in there and found out that I had a faulty valve. Luckily the leak had only been going for a couple of weeks. Jacob was amazing. Mike as well easy to get along with. They didn’t want any coffee.

Any water heater woes are often best left in the capable hands of water heater repair experts who have experience working on your specific water heater type. Hire an experienced water heater team so you can enjoy the peace of mind of knowing your water heater is repaired to a high standard, and even more so if they have licensing and insurance. Ask for recommendations from family, friends, and other trusted people and even read online reviews before calling the best water heater repair company. Hire a water heater repair professional who offers workmanship and parts guarantees for their services over someone who doesn’t provide that.
-
A water heater that isn’t producing hot water can have many causes and repair options, so check that there’s power to the heater, inspect the heating elements, and look at the thermostat. If your water heater is leaking, contact a trusted water heater repair service provider to diagnose common problems like corrosion or a failed pressure relief valve. Odd noises coming from your water heater can often be linked to sediment buildup, with this issue usually being resolved by flushing the water heater tank. As soon as you notice an issue with your water heater, reach out to a reputable and reliable water heater repair service provider to diagnose the problem and take care of it.
-
Older water heaters that are at least eight to 12 years old on the manufacturer’s label may not be economical to repair when they experience total failure. Before repairing your old water heater, calculate replacement costs since new units costing around half of what it costs to repair a water heater can make more financial sense. Consider replacing your water heater rather than repairing it if you’ve had to perform multiple repairs over its lifetime, and that’s not likely to change any time soon. Whether or not a water heater is worth repairing can sometimes depend on how efficient it is and its overall performance.
-
Repairs aren’t always possible or recommended based on the specific issue with your water heater, especially if there is leaking due to corrosion. When water heaters leak from their pipes or fittings, it’s sometimes possible to repair them by adjusting the inlet and outlet pipe connections — this is something a professional can help with. Faulty pressure relief valves can cause water heaters to leak, but they can be replaced with the help of trusted plumbing service providers to get your water heater back in action. Water heater drain valves can commonly cause water leaks when they aren’t entirely closed or are loose — inspect yours if you notice a leak from underneath your water heater and contact a trusted water heater repair expert for help.
-
Repair costs for water heaters average around $600 nationally, but often depend on your water heater’s age and condition — with older units frequently costing more than newer ones, especially when they’re in poor shape. In many situations, plumbing service providers can charge different amounts to repair water heaters based on their type, like tank, tankless, gas, and electric. Water heaters can all have different issues, like leaks, broken components like thermostats, and sediment buildup, and these can all cost different amounts to remedy. Labor costs for water heater repairs differ across various towns, cities, and states, which determines the overall price tag for this service in your area.
-
How much you pay to replace your water heater with a trusted plumbing service provider depends on which the type you choose, such as tank, tankless, electric, or gas. Depending on the features you want, expect to pay more to replace a water heater if you choose one with a large tank or a higher flow rate if it’s tankless. Many factors contribute to water heater replacement costs, such as the water heater installation company you choose, how complicated it is to install, and whether you need a permit for installation. If you want more than a rough idea of how much it will cost to replace a water heater, contact your local service professional for a detailed price estimate.
-
If your current water heater is old (over 10 years), expensive to run, or won’t be economical to repair, updating to a new model makes financial sense. If, over the last 12 months, you’ve spent around half the cost of a new water heater repairing your current one, it makes financial sense to start researching a replacement. Don’t delay buying a new water heater if yours is starting to leak due to rust and corrosion, which can indicate the end of its service life. There are several good reasons to replace your water heater, like when you want better technology, a unit that’s more fit for purpose, or one that’s larger.
-
The time it takes to replace your water heater can depend on the type of water heater you choose. In most cases, installing a new water heater in a commercial or residential property can take as little as three and uo to five hours to install, but you can ask a trusted plumber for a more detailed timeline based on your existing setup. If a plumber needs to install a new plumbing connection or replace or repair one already in place, this can mean that water heater installation takes longer than anticipated. Installation can take longer than the average of three to five hours if your plumber needs to install a new gas line or make modifications to your existing setup.
-
While not always true, you may need to replace your home or business water heater within the’average’ expected lifespan of your particular type of water heater. High-efficiency water heaters can sometimes last 10 to 15 years, while most standard residential and commercial models last an average of eight to 12 years before needing replacement. For owners with tankless water heaters, it’s not uncommon to expect around 15 years or more of reliable service. Water heater replacement may be necessary sooner than the eight- to 12-year average if you have issues with your water quality, don’t prioritize maintenance, or if frequent repairs are needed and performance diminished.
-
A property with a recently installed high-quality water heater can be more attractive and worth more to prospective purchasers than a home with an older or inefficient one. A newly installed and well-maintained water heater is a sign of a meticulously maintained property, which can be particularly desirable to would-be home purchasers. When you want to increase your home’s value for a better return, explore plumbing changes beyond water heater replacement, such as a new kitchen or bathroom. While upgrades like a new water heater and other plumbing upgrades can enhance a property’s appeal, market conditions in your region will be significant in determining its overall value.
