Customer Reviews in Yacolt, Washington

5/25/2025 For the second time in the same week, we had to call Mr. Rooter as our basement laundry room spickets were leaking. Gianni was the plumber that came out. Very nice, friendly, courteous information as well. He came in to assess the issue. Replaced the parts that were leaking also took it upon himself to see if he couldn’t find us a area underneath our home that he could attach a quick shut-off valve versus having to do it down at the bottom of the street and also did a quick inspection of the pipes underneath our house. Another good experience and price wasn’t bad. I definitely will be calling again with any other issues. Thank you, Gianni, for taking your time with us today and going above and beyond the job you came to do.

I had a leak in my wall. Behind the shower head. Mike and Jacob kick some serious ass and got in there and found out that I had a faulty valve. Luckily the leak had only been going for a couple of weeks. Jacob was amazing. Mike as well easy to get along with. They didn’t want any coffee.

Trusted and reliable water heater repair specialists should be the first people you call for help when you’ve been experiencing problems with your water heater. It’s a good idea to hire water heater repair professionals who have licensing and insurance for your peace of mind regarding repair standards. Read reviews and testimonials and ask people you know for recommendations before you hire a business or individual to repair or replace your water heater. Ask water heater repair experts whether they offer guarantees on their parts and workmanship, as these desirable benefits make some professionals stand out more than others.
-
If your water heater has stopped producing hot water, confirm there is still power to the unit and check the thermostat and heating element in case they are to blame. Leaking water heaters can sometimes have corrosion and failed pressure relief valves, both of which can require the expertise of trusted water heater repair teams. Sediment buildup is a common cause of water heaters making strange noises, but you may be able to resolve this issue by flushing the tank. Rather than repairing a water heater yourself, you might save time and money by contacting a local service professional who can provide maintenance, repairs, and total replacement.
-
It’s not always worth repairing a commercial or residential water heater if it’s 8-12 years old, so check your manufacturer’s label before making any repair decisions. Before deciding to proceed with repairs, compare repair costs to the cost of a new unit since replacement tends to be a better option if your yearly repair bill is half the cost of a new one. Think about replacing your water heater if you’ve had to call service professionals to fix it multiple times in recent months. It can often be worth reviewing your current water heater’s efficiency and performance since new water heaters tend to be more efficient and better performing than older ones.
-
Water heaters leaking from the tanks due to corrosion or rust are rarely cost-effective to repair, so your local water heater repair experts may recommend replacement. Water leaking from fittings and pipes doesn’t always spell water heater failure — tightening your inlet and outlet pipes with a pipe wrench is sometimes the solution. Temperature and pressure relief valves on water heaters can sometimes fail and cause leaks, but these are straightforward for most plumbing service professionals to replace. An open or loose drain valve can be a common cause of water leaks in water heaters, so inspect yours and tighten it if required, or contact a water heater repair expert for help.
-
Repair costs associated with water heaters can typically range around $600 nationally, but this depends on how old your water heater is and its condition, with older units in poor condition often costing more to repair than newer ones. The costs associated with water heaters and their repairs and maintenance can differ depending on their type, like tank versus tankless and gas versus electric. Your repair bill will be reflective of the problem your water heater has, such as a broken heating element, a faulty thermostat, sediment buildup, or a leak. Labor costs contribute to the costs of water heater repairs and vary for different towns, cities, and companies.
-
The average price to replace a water heater is determined by the type of water heater you choose, such as gas, electric, tank, or tankless, which all have different retail prices and installation costs. The size or flow rate of your tank or tankless water heater can contribute to the replacement bill, with higher-volume tank water heaters and high-flow rate tankless models sometimes costing more. Many factors contribute to average water heater replacement costs, like the potential requirement for permits, the plumbing company you choose, and how complex it is to install the replacement unit. When you want a realistic idea of the costs associated with water heater replacement, contact a trusted plumbing service provider in your area and ask for an estimate.
-
If your water heater is not economical to run, is old, and is inefficient, you should considering replacing it before long. If you’ve calculated that you’ve spent around half the cost of a new water heater on repairing your current model within the past year, now is the right time to buy a new one. Watch any rust on your water heater closely, as it can sometimes result in leaks and the eventual need for water heater replacement through a trusted experts. Explore water heater upgrades when your current unit doesn’t suit your needs or have the advanced technologies and features you want.
-
The water heater you buy contributes to the timeframe for your preferred plumbing service provider to install it in your home or business. When service professionals are dealing with a straightforward water heater installation, they typically take from three to five hours. In most cases, installing a new water heater in a commercial or residential property can take as little as three and up to five hours to install, but you can ask a trusted plumber for a more detailed timeline based on your existing setup. If your chosen water heater installer has to install a gas line or make other modifications, it may take longer than the average three to five hours to replace your water heater.
-
In many situations, the’average’ lifespan of a water heater can determine how often you should replace yours. As a general rule, you can expect around eight to 12 years of use from a conventional tank water heater, while some high-efficiency models may last up to 15 years. You may not need to consider replacing your water heater for at least two decades if you have a well-maintained tankless water heater that was professionally installed. Your water heater may need replacement sooner than the eight to 12 year average based on factors like its overall performance, frequency of repairs, how well it’s been maintained, and even the water quality in your area.
-
If you install a new high-efficiency water heater in your home and make other upgrades, you may find that your property is more attractive and possibly worth more to home buyers. When you want home buyers to know that you’ve taken care of your property, a new water heater that has been well-maintained is one way to show that. If increasing your home’s resale value is important to you, things like replacing your water heater and other plumbing upgrades like bathroom and kitchen renovations and new appliances can make a difference. While installation of a new water heater can be viewed as a benefit to new home buyers, the condition of your entire plumbing system can also determine whether replacing a water heater increases your home’s overall value.
